The High Waist Pleated Skirt comes in a short (mid-thigh) and long (just above knee) length option. The built-in shorts option will make sure they can play around everywhere. Sizes:

This PDF sewing pattern comes in regular sizes 2T up to big kid 18 and in extended sizes 4E up to big kid 18E.

Fabric Recommendation:

This pattern is designed to be made using knit fabrics.

Skirt: 2 or 4 way 35-50% stretch structured knit, like Ponte, Jacquard, Stretch Denim, Stretch Cord, a thicker Cotton Lycra, or French Terry (ITY, brushed poly, bamboo, etc, won't give the desired effect).

Shorts: 4-way stretch 50% knit fabrics, like Cotton Lycra, Rayon, etc.
