This vintage silk tomesode kimono is a very special one, because it features a huge hand-painted design of a mythical Japanese phoenix flying over intricately-detailed ocean waves. Most of these feature flowers or village scenes, so it is quite rare to find one with a very highly-detailed phoenix.
